Habitat
Montane and submontane forest of northern Thailand. Lives in rock crevices, under stones and in earth banks in cool, humid hill forest.
Wild Diet
Insects and other arthropods. Nocturnal crevice ambush predator.

Temperature
22 – 26 °C ambient — 20 °C cool end (cooler montane species)
Humidity
65 – 80 %. Lightly moist substrate with a drier surface; strong ventilation.
UV Requirements
None required (nocturnal).
Feeding
Crickets and roach nymphs. Every 5 – 7 days.
Enclosure
Terrestrial with stacked flat-rock/slate crevices over a shallow substrate; cooler placement. Min 20 × 20 cm.
Temperament
Fast and secretive; flees into crevices rather than standing ground. A display species, not for handling.
