Endemic to Thailand; described 2022 from Tak province. Uniquely arboreal — lives inside the hollow culms of Gigantochloa bamboo in evergreen hill forest at roughly 1,000 m, silking a tube retreat inside the stem.
Wild Diet
Insects and other arthropods ambushed at the bamboo-culm entrance. Nocturnal sit-and-wait predator.
Captive Care

24 – 28 °C ambient — 22 °C cool end (cooler, montane)
Humidity

UV Requirements
None required (nocturnal).
Feeding
Crickets, roaches and locusts. Slings every 4 – 5 days; adults every 7 – 10 days.

Arboreal — tall enclosure with a vertical hollow bamboo section or cork tube as the retreat, shallow substrate and climbing structure. Min 20 × 20 × 30 cm (H).
Temperament
Fast, secretive and defensive; retreats deep into its tube and will threat-pose or bite if disturbed. Hands-off display species.
