Endemic to Thailand (recorded from western/northern hill forest, e.g. Tak). Builds a trapdoor burrow in firm, shaded earth banks with silk signal lines radiating from the door. 200 – 900 m.
🐁

Humidity
75 – 90 %. Keep the deep substrate consistently moist; maintain stable burrow humidity.

Crickets and roaches near the trapdoor. Adults every 7 – 10 days; slings every 4 – 5 days.
📦

Fossorial — 8 – 12 cm of compactable moist substrate against a sloped face for the trapdoor; min 15 × 15 cm. Leave undisturbed once the burrow is established.
🤚
Temperament
Very shy and secretive; retreats instantly into the burrow. Not for handling — a display species only.
