In the Wild
Habitat
Lowland tropical forest. Lives under bark, in rotting logs and leaf litter. Parthenogenetic — wild colonies are all-female. 0 – 800 m.
Wild Diet
Small insects, termites, springtails and other micro-invertebrates. Nocturnal sit-and-wait predator.
Captive Care
Temperature
24 – 28 °C ambient — 22 °C cool end
Humidity
70 – 80 %. Keep one side of the substrate lightly moist; provide good ventilation.
UV Requirements
None required (nocturnal). Avoid bright light.
Feeding
Micro-crickets, small roach nymphs and flightless fruit flies. Every 4 – 7 days.

Small terrestrial set-up with cork-bark hides and 3 – 5 cm of moist substrate. Communal-tolerant. A 15 × 15 cm footprint is ample.
