~10 cm legspan; body 21 – 25 mm (female), 15 – 18 mm (male). Bright orange hairs.

Highland and lowland forest of peninsular Malaysia, Singapore, Sumatra and southern Thailand. A flat, fast nocturnal hunter on tree bark and foliage. 0 – 1,500 m.

Free-roaming ambush hunter of insects and other arthropods — moths, roaches and crickets — caught by speed.
