Tropical rainforest floor across SE Asia, including peninsular Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. Shelters under logs, rocks and leaf litter. 0 – 600 m.

Insects, arthropods and occasional small vertebrates. Nocturnal ambush predator using its elongated pincers.
