Habitat
Limestone cave systems and surrounding karst forest of Thailand. Lives in calcium-rich, high-humidity microhabitats among rock crevices, guano and decaying debris.

Wild Diet
Leaf litter, rotting wood, fungi, bat guano and decomposing organic matter; supplements calcium from the limestone substrate.

Temperature
20 – 26 °C ambient — 19 °C cool end. Prefers cool, stable cave-like conditions.

Humidity
65 – 80 %. Keep one third moist with sphagnum moss; provide limestone for calcium.
UV Requirements
None required (cave/nocturnal).

Feeding
Leaf litter and rotting hardwood as a base, with cuttlebone/limestone for calcium and protein (e.g. fish flake, shrimp). Every 5 – 7 days.

Enclosure
Terrestrial; 5 – 8 cm moist substrate with leaf litter, cork bark and a limestone rock. 20 × 25 cm. Moderate, slow breeder — keep humid and undisturbed.

Calm, slow detritivore that rolls into a ball when handled. Display/colony species, not for handling.
