Habitat
Terrestrial. Primary and old-growth lowland tropical rainforest only, 0 – 800 m. Rarely found in degraded or secondary habitat. Southern Thai-Malay peninsula.
Wild Diet
Primarily other snakes and lizards (ophiophagous). Slow-moving nocturnal hunter in primary forest.
