Rear-fanged — mildly toxic. Not dangerous to humans. Bites are rare and symptoms minor.

Arboreal. Forest edges, gardens, plantations, hedgerows and suburban green spaces. 0 – 1,500 m. Extremely common throughout all of Thailand.

Lizards (particularly agamids and skinks) and frogs. Diurnal visual hunter — uses binocular vision to track prey.
